You may have noticed that the Bridgeway medians in the north end of town are currently exploding with color!
That didn’t happen by accident. Enhancing the medians was one of the first projects undertaken by Sausalito Beautiful, and for a decade now, we have worked with the City’s landscaping team to make these “public gardens” look better than ever.

Sausalito Beautiful’s Adopt-a-Park program mobilizes local neighborhood leaders and our Green Thumbs volunteers to improve our parks making them more resilient and beautiful. Working with the City Parks team, volunteers regularly meet to weed, mulch and plant with a focus on California natives and drought tolerant plants.

After months of tirelessly knocking on doors, writing letters to secure property owners, retailers, and City approval, offering funding, and coordinating with contractors, we were able to complete these projects.
